I\'ve been doing art all of my life it seems, creating art was and is always on my mind. I was never sure where I would end up as an artist....I went to school with the intent of becoming a fashion illustrator, life then became very busy and I ended up doing graphic arts. My husband and I traveled for awhile and when my son was born I wanted to do something that complemented being a mom so I became a preschool teacher. My son and I had fun doing art together and I was also able to help other children appreciate the world of art. As a family we traveled more and were able to live in other countries. To experience other cultures like this was an amazing adventure. I don\'t think I was aware at the time that everything in life was adding to a richness that was becoming my art. I feel like I\'ve found my home as an artist, coming full circle, using my studies and life experiences to give back in some way and to complete the desire of creativity through jewelry design.
