Visual Art – Toronto
I was born in Mauritius Island and moved to Canada at a young age. Having lived in both countries, the diverse exposure to art, music and culture greatly influences me as an artist and I'm able to tap into all of the unique aspects of life and my ancestry.
I create artwork that is harmonious and balanced yet full of movement. I carefully choose colours palettes to evoke themes and emotions. There is hidden depth and unnoticed qualities to my artwork through textures, layers and imagery as I pay attention to every detail in my creations.
In university I studied to become a teacher, I have a Bachelors of Arts and a Bachelors of Education. I taught for Art and French for 5 years. I was involved in my school community and ran various art initiatives, clubs and talent shows. My passion for creating Art has evolved since then to take on more responsibility for my community. As I connect with myself and my intuition, my dreams and channelled messages, my purpose is strengthen the bond between art and education.
