Fashion – Washington, D.C.

I was born in Okinawa Japan, on Perl Harbor Day, December 7th. My logo is inspired by the Japanese flag with the Asian symbol for longevity, as the red dot. I have always been into fashion as long as i can remember. In elementary I was called Ray Parker Jr, cause of the pleated pants I wore to school. In High School I was nominated for Best Dressed. In College I was asked to model for the Design Students at Tuskegee. I never thought about a career in fashion, till that day. I changed my major from Biology to Fashion Design, and never looked back. Transferred to Bauder College in Atlanta GA, where is received my Associates Degree in Fashion Design. While there I interned at Anne Klein Design Studio In NY. I ran my own clothing store in East Atlanta, where I made all the clothing sold for the first 3 years, then got a partner to supply ready made clothing, for the last 2 years. I was featured in UpScale Magazine with a 3 page spread, March 2005.
