My name is Tara Knadler and I am the founder of Earthware Pottery. I am based in Woodstock, GA. My mission is to create pottery that reflects the natural world, but fits into a modern home seamlessly. I strive to create the most ergonomic product I can so users can feel the connection between themselves and the product.
Something I find really amazing about what I do is the opportunity for my work to become part of someone else's day to day. I think we as humans are extremely habitual, and when we find something that we connect with, whether it be a favorite shirt or favorite coffee mug, we tend to go out of our way to use it on a regular basis. I love hearing that my work becomes that for my patrons. It reminds me that what I do has purpose.
