Visual Art – Atlanta
I received my BFA at Kennesaw State University, in Kennesaw, Georgia, with a concentration in Ceramics and Photography. During my time at KSU I applied my research in American Indian culture, as well as other earth based religions, and arts into my work .
Drawn to nature, I finds peace in daily walks with my dogs up to my barn studio, hand built by my husband. I enjoy sharing my studio with my young daughter and husband, at the center of my family\'s rural land in North Georgia. When my little family of three are not at in the studio or tending to all her animals, we are driving cross country exploring national parks and forests with their kayaks. Pulling inspiration from my studies, travels, and own backyard, I creates my designs. Each design is hand carved I believe my ceramic pieces are an extension of my way of life.
