Visual Art – Cleveland

I came quietly into the world on August 31st, 1990, along with a twin sister who is my best friend. I was born into a family of artists. My father, mother, aunt, and grandfather are all artists in their own ways. My granddad was my first art critique, and it was he who taught me to draw and to paint. My sister and I were raised by our grandparents, and officially adopted by them at the age of 12. Being a quiet kid, I always took solice in sketching and painting. I attended John F. Kennedy High School and by my senior year I was known for my elaborate \"tattoo\" designs that I would scrawl up my arm in sharpie and ink, even attracting the interest of my teachers. It wasn\'t until the end of high school that I decided I wanted to pursue a career in art. I had no idea what kind of art I even wanted to make. But I knew that art was the only thing I could see myself doing for the rest of my life. In 2008 I began attending the Cleveland Institute of Art, eventually majoring in Illustration. That had to be the best 4 years of my life. Now, 2 years after receiving my BFA from the Institute, I spend my time working, making art, and taking classes in Graphic Design. My search for freelance opportunities is nonstop. Art it what I love to do.
