I'm a Minnesotan Artist who creates abstract and uniquely beautiful sterling silver jewelry pieces. I discovered my passion for jewelry creation in college where I casted my very first silver piece using the lost wax casting method. I use a specific technique that allows me to create one-of-a-kind abstract pieces that start out as wax carvings! Through a 10 to 15 hour process, the waxes are melted out of their molds and I'm able to use molten silver and a centrifuge to fill the negative space to create the pieces in silver! I then complete my designs with wire work and setting stones to create a completely unique look. I love seeing the reactions people have to my pieces and I've come to realize that they see many different images and shapes within the designs, much like shapes in clouds. This is definitely a passion for me and I love pursuing it as a career as well!
