Eli Portman

Eli Portman was born and raised in the Greater Boston area. He graduated from the State University of New York at Binghamton with a Bachelors Degree in studio art in the spring of 2014. Primarily focusing on drawing, Portman also experimented with oil painting and woodblock printmaking. Since then Portman returned to the Boston area, where he currently lives. He has taught art to children grades K-8, and has hung his work in galleries, shops and cafes throughout Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline, Newton, Boston, Dedham, Chelsea and Quincy. Portman has also done private commissions, and illustrated a children\'s book in late 2014.
