Visual Art – New Orleans
I am a visual artist based in New Orleans, Louisiana. I graduated from the University of New Orleans with an undergrad degree in Fine Arts and Business Management, and spent 8 months interning at the New Orleans Museum of Art. I work mainly with acrylic on canvass.
The process I use to create my recaptured images stems from the cognitive accumulation of tangible and intangible materials. When compiling images from popular culture I also try to incorporate my own explorative notions gained from documentaries, books, and conversations in light of the combination of spiritual and scientific topics ranging from quantum mechanics to gravitation singularities and from religion to memetics. This leads me to create aesthetically pleasing images that are broken down into basic form and shape and appear to have minimal concept.
