Visual Art – San Diego

I have been drawing since I was able to hold a pencil. My mom often referred to me as a female Leonardo because the world was my canvas. Wanting to become like the great artists in my textbooks I decided to venture into the art field with the determination to soak in as much as I could. I am currently a student at Grossmont College while I work on my general education and associates in Fine Arts. Any of my art teachers can tell you of my enthusiasm in the classroom and projects, but it does not stop there. I have worked on four community projects this year painting utility boxes. The first was a school assignment given by my brilliant Drawing 1 teacher, Jennifer Bennett, which gave me the inspiration to do more for my community over the summer. I learn more with every stroke of my brush on every project and can not get enough. This is my dream job, making a world aesthetically pleasing, enrapturing, and interactive to others that is all my own.
