Performing Art – Minneapolis
The Energy Dance Collective was founded in June 2011 by Artistic Director Amanda Leaveck. Dancers come from the University of Saint Thomas and the University of Minnesota, and have been actively involved with the dance community on their campuses - including UST Dance Team and college performing arts group, PULSE. Collective members come from a wide array of dance backgrounds including contemporary, ballet, hip hop, modern, and gymnastics. The Energy Dance Collective intentionally connects life experience to movement, exploring a versatile amount of dance genres and movement styles.
