Performing Art – Boston

Stan "eSKapade" Karachev is a passionate Boston-based dancer with experience in a variety of styles across several platforms. Stan was born and raised in St. Petesburg, Russia before moving to the US at 9 years old. Stan's dance interest started while going out to clubs and dancing to different music genres as well as meeting several local dancers. He joined Colleges of Fenway Dance program for several semesters while working towards his mechanical engineering technology degree at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. During his junior year in 2012, Stan joined Dance2Save (D2S) in their mission in raising money and awareness through performances for various charity organizations such as Walk for Hunger, Camp Summer Stars, Purple Project and many more. Being on Dance2Save opened many opportunities such as performing at StyleWeek Northeast and Six Flags New England. In 2016, Stan joined Boston dance company called StreetHYpE for a more competitive edge and exposure to countless dance styles including house, krump, locking, vogue, popping, breaking, dancehall and several other sub genres. In the last few years, Stan has worked on all of these styles through classes, sessions, battles and training with the understanding that versatility is important; there is always more to be learned. He currently teaches at Urbanity Dance and you can follow him on his Instagram at eSKapadeLife for his latest dance projects, class updates and contact information.
