Elissa Johnson

I am a student planning on attending Brown University and working towards a combined B.Sc. in Biomedical engineering and a B.A. in Visual Arts. My passion for drawing began with dinosaurs in preschool and steadily evolved since. I am a mostly self-taught artist (I like books more than teachers) and I have a particular fondness of vibrant colors and layered complexity. My style, preferred media, and subject matter changes often and I am still in the process of creating my own artistic voice - and I expect I will be for the rest of my life. I began building the basis of an independent company when I was 17 and have only grown more passionate about my work as the years wear on.
