Visual Art – Perth
Evelyn is a modern day Renaissance woman, who's enjoys a multidisciplinary approach to art and design. Whilst her usual style is pretty self explanatory upon first glance, she believes that no form of art is intrinsically superior to any other form - all are equal in their effect on human emotions, if the message is conveyed successfully.
Although drawing and painting was a significant catalysts, marking the begin to Evelyn's artistic journey, the idea that one must confine their efforts to a single medium or style, has fueled her rebel against this notion. Thus, she has adapted her skills & talents to transcend most mediums of artistic expression - whether it be painting, drawing, photography, sculpture & model making, architectural design, graphic design, applied arts, conceptual design, publications & typography, scientific/medical art, music, acting, writing, or curation & direction.... the list goes on.
She currently works as a Graduate Architect & Graphic Designer at Cox Howlett & Bailey Woodland Architects; but freelances in Art, Design, & Graphics in her time outside work.
Evelyn is extremely excited, and thankful, to be exhibiting in RAW's "NEXT" Showcase later this month. She hopes be able to use her multidisciplinary approach to develop something new and exciting for this showcase - along side her main works - and create a repertoire of works to exhibit this multifaceted style for future exhibitions.
