My name is Amber. Making jewelry has been a part of who I am, since childhood. As early as 3rd grade, made beaded necklaces, which I sold at school. The desire to create and share my work, took some time to become my official job, but it\'s been a great journey.
I love to take unusual items, and strip them down, or combine them with other items, or textures. My favorite medium to work with is precious metal wire. Wire wrapped pieces have an organic feel that can\'t be achieved with mass produced pieces. I love knowing that while my work has a clearly, handmade look, it\'s equally enchanting style is something that people feel drawn to.
I am completely dedicated to the handmade philosophy, and believe that handmade and locally made or grown, is absolutely the way to go.
I often travel across the state to participate in handmade Markets, and have met some amazing, like minded people. Being a part of the handmade community has support other artist, and experience their art as well.
