Fashion – San Francisco
Fabrefaction was born out of a passion for fabrics and clothing design combined with my desire to contribute to environmental sustainability. The idea is to create new, unusual, one-of-a-kind items that reuse and re-purpose the massive amounts of valuable and high quality clothing and textiles that are discarded each day. My products follow the current movement towards recycling or "upcycling", a notion that not only supports creativity but also sustainable consumerism. In this way, I am doing my small part to not only create beauty in the world, but reduce the environmental impact of discarded garments.
My pieces combine artistic design elements, rich and luxurious fabrics and many fine details. Once they are complete, they are are fully handmade, re-imagined, and absolutely unique.
