Visual Art – Los Angeles

“With my art, I want people to feel a sense of hope, renewal and a connection with nature and all living things.” As a young child, Ferrell began her artistic adventures with a box of 64 crayons and moved on to pencils, watercolors, oils and then changed her canvas to the human face. She was a professional makeup artist for over a decade working in stage, film, video and TV. Acrylics are her current medium and her paintings are focused on the whimsy found in nature. Her company, Honey B Productions, is named after her mother, Honey Blanton “Honey B” Scholz, a true original who loved breaking the rules. Honey B Productions is focused on all things creative. Ferrell is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Joe Blasco School of Makeup. She sits on the Board of Directors of L.A. Works, a non-profit organization dedicated to mobilizing volunteers throughout greater Los Angeles.
