Accessories – Raleigh
I\'m a North Carolina resident, transplanted from California with many travels in between. I\'ve always had an appreciation for art, but never considered myself an artist.
That changed in 2012, when I ended my 12 year career in the Army and needed to occupy my abundance of free time. I was in Walmart looking for arts and crafts for my kids and a beautiful heart shaped pendant caught my eye. I picked it up, along with some beads and put a necklace together. I posted the necklace on Facebook and about an hour later my friend asked me for one in \"Duke blue and black.\" So, I delivered and I\'ve been obsessed with making jewelry ever since.
I am constantly thinking of artistic, innovative ways to put beads, chains and findings together.
I love all things \"pretty,\" but I\'m particularly drawn to bold statement pieces. There is something so beautiful about jeans, a white t-shirt and a noticeable accessory that walks into the room before you.
When I\'m not making jewelry I love to spend time with friends and family, read, write, exercise and restock my jewelry making supplies.
I\'m honored and excited to be a member of such an amazing group of artists.
