Film – New York - NYC

I was born in Paris and grew up in New York City where I discovered at a young age my passion for images and storytelling. With a background in photography and theater directing, I recently graduated from NYU\'s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film and Television, and concentrations in cinematography and art direction. I also studied at the prestigious European film school, FAMU, where I explored 35mm film. Combining my Turkish and Italian heritage into character-driven pieces, I have written, directed, and produced award-winning NYU and independent short films, both in the US and internationally. This summer I have gone to the Madrid International Film Festival with my short film \"Marmara\", and I am currently working in the Art Department of a European feature in New York. I plan to move to the West Coast and write a full-length film. Hopefully I will be able to combine my love of freelancing, writing, and traveling.
