Photography – Minneapolis

I was born and raised in a small town in Wisconsin. I knew by age 16 I wanted to be a photographer. In my early adult years, I traveled between San Francisco and Minneapolis where I have found inspiration for what I do. Now, many years later, I live just outside Minneapolis spending my time pushing my photography as far as I can take it. My work consists of Time-lapse (30 seconds to 1.5 minute long exposures), using ONLY moonlight as my light source. I incorporate people to create a story. My photography is taken AS IS. I do some minor post work, but I use the science and art of photography to create each scene as you see it. That is the reason behind why I call myself \"Focusing in the Dark\"; it is the hardest part of my body of work.
