Austin, Texas based handbag and accessory designer, Mary Frances Ferris, or “Frankie” for short, is nothing short on imagination. A self proclaimed “Jill-of-all-trades”, she has creatively worked with many artistic mediums and is commonly the “go to” creative among her peers.
Her love of vintage and antiques keep her consistently on the look out for items new and old that will inspire that new idea. Her rare ability to look past the canvas and see the potential for what some thing could become allows her to design original and unique pieces that can only be found from the Frankie Studio.
With a background in interior design and history in retail, she quickly learned standards of quality and the importance of “truth in materials”. She personally and carefully selects each of the genuine leather hides that are used and meticulously stitches her seams to ensure durability.
Each Frankie piece reflects part of her earthy Texas roots rocker style with a hint of carefully placed glam. Dress them up or dress them down, her “get-up-and-go” pieces are sure to stand the test of time with lasting quality and craftsmanship you can trust.
