GEORGIA MAE opens a window to future pop.
This girl has music industry cred. Audiences at her Brisbane gigs may be unaware that GEORGIA MAE is a qualified sound engineer and producer with breadth and depth of instrumental expertise. Although only 21, she has a degree in Music Technology from the Queensland Conservatorium, and music that she has composed, recorded and produced features in films screened at Cannes Film Festival and a plethora of American TV shows. From her Brisbane home studio, GEORGIA MAE works remotely with Los Angeles Film and TV music production companies, and has collaborated with legendary UK producer Stuart Epps. With a vocal range that exceeds three octaves, she moonlights as a member of The Australian Voices – the southern hemisphere’s premier choir. Earlier this year she was selected as one of ten Telstra Road to Discovery semi-finalists and had the privilege of attending a week long Boot Camp in Melbourne with music industry professionals.
Working across the music spectrum has inspired GEORGIA MAE’s distinctive new brand of electronic pop, the reinvention of her live shows, and her upcoming EP. With ‘Keeper of the Key’, she has unleashed the bold enigmatic sound of 2020.
