Fashion – Baltimore
GetShockt.com...Life has led me to travel and live for the past 9 years amongst so many diverse cultures. From Baltimore to Florida, London and around Europe, to the back country of New Zealand, to Southeast Asia and China--all of these places have influenced my art and my eclectic fashion sense.
My vision is to merge art with functional fashion, enhancing the possibilities of creative expression through personal style--all the while keeping it eco-friendly, comfy, sexy, and distinctive.
I have been given the opportunity to embody the answer to the question, \"What would you do if you could do anything?\" In between doing yoga, walking outside, and crafting in the kitchen, I love to find ways of expressing myself through multifaceted forms of art. The \"fashion illustrations\" that I once drew as a child are now a part of my process, serving as blueprints of what will become a reality. The ink doodles that once decorated the margins of my school notebooks are now the foundation of my hand-drawn artwork printed on my organic & sustainable apparel designs.
If you had asked me when I was a student where I would be today, I would have guessed \"writer\" or \"teacher.\" But the universe tends to guide us toward our true passions. So of course I should be this creator of \"WEARable, STAREable\" art. I\'m grateful that the nature of life leads us to where we belong if we listen and allow.it.to.guide.us.
