Photography – Minneapolis

My education background is not a typical one, like some I started at a typical \"brick and mortar\" college but due to unforeseen circumstances my education ended at the Online International Academy of Design and Technology, where I got received my Associates Degree of Science in Graphic Design. Just like my educational career, my photography career is a bit the same. I fell in love with photography when I was a sophomore in college in my first black and white photography class. My love only grew when I took my digital photography class. Where my path is different than most is that I do not edit my work, I do not color correct my work, and I DO NOT use a SRL camera. Rather, I use a point and shoot camera. For those who are not into photography, that means I can not change the lens on my camera. I have thought about getting an SRL camera, but honestly I love the camera I work with. Of course I know the advantages of working with better equipment, but I also have learnt that it is not always the camera that makes the photograph but the person behind the camera that makes the photograph a piece of artwork. Macro photography, I feel, is one of the hardest things to do as a photographer. I love to capture the beautiful details that nature provides for us to see everyday or just capturing a moment in time that will soon disappear.
