Music – Perth
Grace Armstrong may be new to the Perth scene but she knows what she's doing. She uses gentle yet powerful vocals along with hazy, guitar solos to draw you into their unique dreamy, funk pop world.
Her 5 piece band consists of Grace Armstrong on guitar along with her earnest, tender vocals, Christian Zappia on juicy lead guitar, bassist Benjamin Vaughan, Marley Donnan-Cook on keys and drummer Josh Wright. While all these members are no strangers to the band life, Grace has done some noteworthy things on her own. While going solo she played at festivals such as the Nannup Music Festival and Bridgetown Blues Festival and well as playing at well-known venues around Perth. With all members studying at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts they spend their time honing their crafts, which is evident when they play.
The band will be releasing their first single towards the end of the year. In the meantime, The Grace Armstrong Band will continue to play around Perth and focus on writing more alluring, seductive songs.
