Photography – Seattle
I recently decided that making cool pictures isn\'t good enough. I can take a nice photograph. I can photograph just about anything and make it look \"cool\". Here\'s what I realized: I would rather show work that conveys my passion. I have a hard drive full of beautiful photographs of people, and nature, and architecture, still life, kitties, puppies... weddings, etc. Recently I went another direction with my photos. I inserted my self. My Self is what I am working towards. The person in these images is on a journey, not unlike every other person\'s journey of searching for meaning, joy, understanding. That\'s why I point the camera at myself. It\'s about humanity, and I am the most available model for the job. I don\'t look too bad in the camera, either ;)
