Visual Art – Austin
Hello! My name is Grace and I am an artist born and raised in Austin, Texas. I first became interested in art when I was just 9 years old, after being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. I needed something to occupy my time when I was on bed rest so I started drawing. It soon became my passion, a part of who I am, and hopefully a part of my future. I recently graduated from Leander High School and am working towards my degree in art teaching. There have been several art teachers throughout the years that have given me a lot of support, encouragement, and inspiration. My hope is that someday I can help inspire other kids to pursue their own dreams and goals in art, as well as continuing to explore my own artistic abilities.
