Greg Gioia

Greg Gioia made a name for himself as a DJ and event planner while still a student at U.C. Berkeley. What started as a side business to cover tuition and books turned into a career in corporate event planning. One can only do that for so long without going crazy, and so after burning out, he adopted the moniker "Shady GaGa" and embarked on a two-year-long road trip around America. He returned to the West Coast to found the now-legendary Super Double Secret Party Planning Crew in Oakland, through which he organized lavish bi-monthly theme events on a grand scale. Having fulfilled his vow to "make Oakland amazing," and after stints in Los Angeles, Cairo, Paris, and New York, he returned yet again to his beloved California-- this time to San Jose where he runs our RAW showcase.
