Angelique Olin

Photography – Orlando

Angelique Olin grew up in Fort Myers, Florida. The daughter of a wedding photographer, she began shooting at a very early age. After serving 4 years in the United States Air Force during Operation Desert Storm, Angelique became a police officer in her hometown, serving 16 years as an officer and detective before being forced to retire for medical reasons. Never feeling that police work defined her, she decided to return to school to study Digital Photography. Angelique graduated Magna Cum Laude from the International Academy of Design and Technology in 2010. \"I started school knowing that I wanted to shoot nudes. I have always been fascinated by the human form in it\'s many shapes, colors and sizes. Photography is life...it\'s air... I breathe it and live it. There is no more beautiful creation than that of the human body. I love the lines and shadows and curves that light creates. I dream in color but I see the world in black and white. I mainly shoot what I consider to be \"Anonymous\" photographs and body landscapes. The mystery of anonymity is what draws me and keeps me returning to it. To be free and unafraid is so empowering. Shooting nudes empowers me. It proves who I am and what I love and that I am not afraid to share that with the world.\" Please check out my website at www.soul-flowerstudios.com
