Hailey Alyssa

My name is Hailey Gearo. I have always known art was the thing that fueled my soul and filled me with happiness. In the beginning of my art evolution I was emulating street art in my work, but after a little experimentation that all changed. I found that I loved colour, and I wanted to focus on colour instead of figures. I would now call myself a contemporary abstract expressionist. This style allows me to focus on allowing paint to be paint and creating rich colours. I make my pieces come alive by adding different types and finishes of paints, textures, and plaster. All of these elements create something sculptural and saturated in colour. I hope to have my audience is just as excited and in love as I am in what I am creating while they get lost in the delicate details of my pieces.
