Halfcast is the project of guitarist/vocalist Jason "Fuzzy" Tyler, bassist Ryan Dickerson, and drummer Alex Moore. Their heavy grunge sound of the 90s is also complimented with virtuosic technique similar to that of 70s/80s prog and fusion bands. Tyler's lyricism uses fantastic themes, as well as sharp social commentary. All this culminates into a sound they describe as scrap rock.
