Leotie Lune

I am an Artist/Stylist/Visual Designer trying to make my way out of corporate work situations and into a more creative and fulfilling artistic existence. Leotie Lune' is a brand that I am working to create that focuses on my personal handmade works along with my paintings and visual designs. Leotie is a female Native American name meaning "Prairie Flower". Lune' is in reference to the moon that hangs above when we rest our heads to dream. I have decided to marry these two words for their meaning and also as a reminder to myself to continue to grow and evolve in my art and to not forget the artistic dreams that have always outlined and illuminated my soul. Creating Dream Catchers began as a way for me to pay homage to my Native American heritage and family members, particularly my grandparents on my fathers side whom are now passed. However, this has quickly become a form of meditation and healing for me. My dream catchers, jewelry and paintings are my way of showing the people I love and those who enjoy these pieces of art how much I truly care about their lives, their homes and their dreams. I hope that if even bought for only aesthetic reasons that these creations will heal and soothe the minds and lives of those who purchase them.
