Photography – Orlando

I bought my first DSLR, a Canon EOS 60D with a kit lens in January of 2012, only having rudimentary knowledge of how to use it. Regardless, I took any work I could as an event photographer through connections of family and friends. Slowly I would figure out framing, and craft my personal style. Over time I rented any gear I could afford, seeing what I liked and didn\'t like about different Tamron, Sigma, and Canon lenses. It wasn\'t until October of 2013 that I took my first digital photography class, and in January I took my first course in lighting. Both drastically sharpened my skills behind the camera, and gave me a whole new understanding of the medium. I have studied events, location and studio portraiture, boudoir, and action photography. I have worked for the WWE and Suicide Girls as a freelancer, and have hopes of earning an agency representation by the end of this year. I work whenever I can, however I can, and despite all of my missed-shots, heavy investments, burns from clients, personal dissatisfactions and frustrations galore, I have never given up on these goals.
