Hauoli Palama

I have always been drawn to the ocean and everything within it. When I was 17 years old I ran away to college in Hawaii to pursue a degree in marine biology. Life in Hawaii was unlike anything I had (or have) ever experienced and as such I wound up staying a total of 6 years. My heart still resides in those lovely islands, and although I came to San Diego 4 years ago, I still feel like I left that piece of me there. My artwork makes me feel calm, makes me remember the slow paced lifestyle I loved so much, and makes me feel a little more connected to my heart. A peaceful individual, I hope to share the love and peace for our natural world with all who view my paintings, and inspire them to slow down and truly enjoy the world surrounding them.
