I believe in exploring the intersections of fashion, art and story telling through a unique combination of concept driven and elegantly hand crafted pieces. I have an MFA in Fashion and Knitwear design and a BFA in Race, Gender and Sexuality, both heavily influence how I approach creating. I am at the beginning of a fashion lifestyle brand, Heather Marie Scholl, that aims to empower. Through encouraging others to take charge of constructing their own visual world and story. And by expressing mine though creating work that inspires and items that can be integrated into your visual life. My work spreads from fashion lifestyle items to fine art leaning pieces. Creating a fine art side of my work has been a natural way to maintain the integrity of my craftsmanship and vision and my love of handwork. Everything I create whatever the story, the meaning, or the item maintains my commitment to the beauty and tradition of luxury fashion and lifestyle products.
