Visual Art – San Francisco
Hector Badillo grew up in Hidalgo, Mexico. He was inspired by his grandfather who was a bee farmer and candle maker. Since moving to the United States in 2000 he has been involved in the creative Arts from LGBT dressmaking to Latin Dance Choreography in the San Diego Area. In 2011 he moved to Vallejo to pursue a career in business management. The lush wildlife of northern California sparked memories of his Grandfathers Farm and quickly began working with Bees Wax. In two years Hector has developed his unique take on encaustic art and incorporates his love texture, color and flare.
