The “Hello, My Name Is” Project is a collaborative photo project that takes a deeper look in to the human concept of a name.
What is in a name? Why do some Roberts prefer to be called Bob? How did you get your nickname? Where were you when you decided “PizzaLover4Life” was the best username to represent you online? When did naming children after fruit and flowers become a thing? Who said the world must address you by what is printed on your birth certificate?
There is a story behind every nickname, every username, every off-the-wall alias. The “Hello, My Name Is” Project strives to provide an exposure to all of these interesting stories as well as the people behind the names.
