Fashion – Minneapolis

I am the clothing I create. Every piece chronicling a chapter in my life. I learned to sew at the age of 5 from my grandmother, she taught me how to transform images, emotions, and ideas into physical objects of function and beauty. My earliest years were spent in Boulder, Colorado as a competitive synchronized swimmer designing and creating my own competition suits. My background as a synchronized swimmer has shaped my affinity for storytelling through apparel. Every garment has the potential to be an expression of self, and should be as unique as the individual that wears it. I am currently finishing my B.S. in Apparel Design at the University of Minnesota and recently worked on a wearable technology collaboration with NASA. I own my desire to explore merging functionality and aesthetic beauty to this experience and hope to use technology in my future design innovations. I hold living life to the fullest above all else and never shy from an adventure. A victim of wanderlust I have been lucky enough to travel to 22 countries and use these and my everyday experiences to create clothing inspired by people and the vibrancy of daily life.
