Performing Art – Chicago

The Tapmen began as a collaborative effort between three Chicago tap dancers, Zada Cheeks, Martin Bronson and Tristan Bruns. Their initial collaboration, \"The Train\" debuted at the Josh Weckesser Dance Spectacular in the Summer of 2010 and was chosen to perform at the \"Best Of Dance Chicago 2010\", the closing performance of the annual Dance Chicago festival. Since then, the Tapmen have gone on to perform with other Chicago companies Chicago Dance Crash (Trials of Busta Keaton, Hoover-Lepen Theatre) and Martin \"Tre\" Dumas\' Jus\'LisTeN (Tap Like Water, Stage 773). Members of the Tapmen were featured at the Chicago Human Rhythm Project\'s 2011 Global Rhythms festival performance. The Tapmen are available for large and private events, as well as charity benefit performances. The Tapmen also offer customizable workshops for schools and dance studios.
