When I was younger I took things apart. I would try to disassemble anything I got my hands on, just because I was curious to see what it really was. As I got older these little experiments became less destructive and more creative. My curiosity, and restless hands, have led me from craft to craft, and hobby to hobby. Eventually I realized that there was a common theme to all of my projects, in that I take ordinary, everyday objects, and transform them into something else. My jewelry represents the culmination of all these crafts. I start out with regular coins, and destroy them, but out of this destruction emerges a beautiful and truly unique piece of jewelry.
