Lux Ascension

At the age of eight, I began with a simple impulse to play the drums. It quickly became a passion for all music, from all times. I perform traditional tunes and original compositions based on various cultural and historic styles. Ancient instruments such as Hammered Dulcimer, the Greek Bouzouki and African and Mideast percussion combine with modern influences in new ways. Lux Ascension is a new fusion of music and performance arts. Dance, poetry and story-telling blend with music, each leading the other into new places. Founded by Bryson Gerard, the group often includes the talents of Sabina England (ASL poet/dancer), Zac Milner (fiddle) and Chris Otto (Native Flute and percussion).
