I have always loved the energy and beauty of nature, especially that which can be found in gemstones. I began making jewelry nearly five years ago. Happily, a second career. I discovered the joy of creating art after many years as a teacher. I began as many do with beading necklaces and bracelets. However, I found that I wanted more in my designs and I experimented with wire working. I have now added metal working to my array of skills. I continue to love the color and vibrant energy of gemstones and plan to incorporate them as often as possible. with metal worked and wire wrapped pieces.
