I sat down with a friend a little less than two years ago and started learning how to wire wrap jewelry. From then on jewelry consumed my life. I never wore a lot of it before now, but creating my own pieces taught me respect for this art. When I\'m in the studio I\'ve got nothing else on my mind. It\'s the most therapeutic thing I\'ve found. At the beginning of this year I started taking metalsmithing classes and have been able to start building my own studio so that I can have my own space to create, continue to learn and push myself further than yesterday.
