Elena Villa (EvStrokes)

My name is Elena and I am 23 years old. I was born and raised in Atlanta. I have been painting most of my life, however over the past three years I have realized I want put my heart and soul into my art. I started taking art classes when I was very young. In 2011 I did a study abroad trip to Spain to study art, and that is when I decided this is what I love. Whether I am going to create art or work in the art field, I know that I want to always be involved in it. To describe my art, it is modern/contemporary and focuses on the beauty and empowerment of women. I believe the female anatomy is one of the most beautiful creations, and it is very inspiring to me. I have been working on a series of females and experimenting with the female expression of fantasy. I want to get my work out there, and step out of my comfort zone, and really discover who I am as an artist. I am always wanting to try something I have never done before and am constantly working on my technique, and trying to improve my skills. This past year I got an LLC for my business EvStrokes, and a new studio that will really allow me to focus on my work. Now I will share it with you. Love.
