I was born in Russia, Moscow and at first pursued a career in science. I’ve even earned a PhD in Neurogenetics. As I turned 30 I realized that so much science in my life should be balanced with art, so I started to draw and sculpture. Soon after I came to understand that the best materials for sculpture and drawing are the people themselves. You can change them, enhance them, or make them look unusual just by key application of makeup. The thing that I love most about makeup is the way it can completely transform a person in to someone or something else. I started to paint on people and have been doing it for four years already. In time I traded science for the world of professional make up and I never looked back. I did make up for film, TV, beauty and fashion shoots, weddings and parties. In all the work I did the thing I love the most was always characters creating, when you bring your fantasy to life, turn a drawing on paper into a living creature.
