Photography – Boise
When I was eleven, my family took a trip to Kauai. Being from Idaho, a landlocked state, the ocean became incredibly sacred to me. As I developed my passion for photography in college, this medium helped me observe and explore our natural environment with such freedom. Photography changed me as a person, opening my mind. I have developed an affinity for sacred geometry and fractals in my work with nature, specifically with how it connects us through our natural elements. I want my work to utilize these theories and help the human race as a species to appreciate the beauty we live in, and a call to action to preserve it. This beautiful planet is my muse and favorite subject to photograph, but I also enjoy photographing a variety of different subject matter. I find beauty in everything I see. What I love so much about the art of photography is how it allows one to freeze moments in time. You can relive your most wonderful memories over and over again. You can share your experiences with others and connect with life in a unique and exciting way. In my eyes, there is no greater gift.
