Fashion – Denver

From jewelry to wedding gowns Abbey applies her passion to bring the apparel industry to a new production standard and provokes world change in everything that she touches. After graduating from Louisiana State University with a Bachelors in Apparel & Textile Design, she explored the fashion capital of Los Angeles and quickly digested a need for change. It was soon after she blindly ventured into the Rocky Mountains of Colorado where Lavender Elephant was founded. Awakened by the over-production of the fast fashion industry she started providing new clothing alternatives to her clients by revamping their wardrobes so they didn't have to drive to the city. Her ability to revive a garment from rags to riches was undeniable. After volunteering in Uganda in 2013 with S.O.U.L. Foundation offering their Women's Tailoring Group resourceful product development techniques and creative thinking skill training, she noticed a niche. "Is it capable to own a successful fashion wellness company that promotes change?" Since then Lavender Elephant opened it's first location in the precious town of Winter Park, Colorado providing creative services in a magnetic environment cultivating inspiration for a balanced life. Abbey is currently in the midst of developing Lavender Elephant's eco-friendly craft bridal collection.
