Visual Art – Tucson

My name is Douglas Wiggins, I was born in the Philippines in 1975. In 1983, my family moved to Tucson, where I have lived, and enjoyed raising three boys of my own. I came from a modest background, studying graphic design at Pima Community College here in Tucson. A lot of my inspiration for my art comes from the rich culture of the Tucson area, from Mexican Folk art, local Tucson artists, and colorful Graffiti art found scrawled across the urban backdrop of downtown Tucson, and in the depths of stunning illustrations. When I stumbled across the book: \"Graffiti World - Street Art From Five Continents\", by Nicholas Ganz, I put brush to canvas, and began painting. I have also been fortunate to be an artist in this time of ready access to many different styles on the internet. As an artist, my style and process are constantly evolving. I really appreciate, and am ever grateful for the opportunity to be showcased as a RAW artist.
