Visual Art – New York - Brooklyn

I’ve been a lover of creation as long as I can remember. As both a painter and photographer, I strive to develop a meaningful relationship with the intricacies of human beings, to communicate a story to the viewer, creating a mirror that connects a person to the subject. It is my desire to express the passion I feel for people through my art, to inspire and strike love into the heart of everyone who encounters my work. I used to be a fighter but now I am a lover. Painting hasn\'t always been something I knew I was going to do, I\'ve had more trouble believing in my ability in it\'s regard than with other art mediums. There was something daunting about canvas for me, I felt its permanence and was intimidated by it. I started with wood first, and other things some might refer to as \"trash\". I developed a relationship with discarded things, I desired to make them more beautiful, to bring them to a glory otherwise unrecognized. It was then that I came to an understanding with canvas, I realized that a journey on canvas can be never ending, essentially mistakes don\'t exist.
