IRONWINGS

My name is Phyllis, more often known as \"P\". I am an artist who is for the most part self taught. My adornments are ONE OF A KIND and they are bits of my spirit meant for the wearer. In 1988 I quit the \"suit world\" and started OLDE GLORY FOLK ART. I began sawing, sculpting,carving,painting and distressing wood, papier mache\' etc. I also started PEE WEES a l:l miniature dollhouse food business. I learned many mediums, tools and techniques that I use in my jewelry art today. At 35 I married my husband, Roger, who is my best pal forever, my most honest critic, my rock and my bankroll! He always stands by me and supports me. He makes it possible for me to TRAVEL, LEARN and HUNT. I love to travel the cities of the world hunting for that bit of history that sparks a new piece. My art is ONE OF A KIND and it is a story that is told through the process. In 2014 I opened IRONWINGS on etsy.com and have spent my time in the studio almost exclusively.
